Map Production & Data Center
GT's map production team is responsible for all of the maps' development services (digitizing, geo-coding, editing map content and attributes, and video processing and editing).
GT's digital maps (Egypt & some of the Arab countries) are characterized by tangible accuracy and various scales ranging from 1:2500 to 1:250,000 for different coverage zones with full metadata descriptions.
We provide our map solutions to different sectors in Agriculture, Geology, Land Coverage and Usage and Fleet Management. Our products are used in data production, data management, architectural plans, ground cadastre and topographic maps, distribution networks for utilities such as electricity, gas and water networks, facility plans, site survey plans and civil & mechanical engineering drawings.
Application Development
Our GIS Application Development department has a long experience in developing both desktop and web applications using different GIS platforms. As one of Intergraph selected partners, we use Intergraph Geomedia products in our map production process.
The GeoMedia® product suite is a set of well-integrated applications that provide full breadth of geospatial processing capabilities needed by industries, such as governments and transportation agencies for map production, infrastructure management, and land management. Utility and telecommunications companies, as well as defense and intelligence organizations, also rely on this product suite for data analysis, data sharing, and map production.
Our services also cover customized desktop and web specific business oriented applications, fleet tracking and other tracking technologies, automatic vehicle location (AVL), location based service (LBS), Enterprise GIS solutions, and specific capacity building and training.
Remote Sensing & photogrammetry
GT offers Remote Sensing services, which is the science and art of information acquisition (spectral, spatial and temporal) regarding material objects, area or any phenomenon without coming into physical contact with it. In remote sensing, information transfer is accomplished by using electromagnetic radiation (EMR). EMR is a form of energy that reveals its presence by the obvious effects it produces when it strikes the matter.
